I know, I know – it has nothing at all to do with eighth blackbird, but, dammit, I’m from a Australia, and it just doesn’t snow in Australian cities. Hence my excitable, girlish giggling upon looking out of my Chicago window this morning to see a thick carpet of white. First snow of the year! Now all I need are two sticks, two buttons and a carrot…..
