This morning, while rehearsing music by University of Richmond composers for a reading tomorrow, all the electricity across the UR campus went down, killing the lights in our room. Seconds later, our own Duvall flicked a switch on a headset light and was ready to go: “What are you lookin at? Come on – time to move on – ready to go – everyone ready to go – time’s a’wastin”. That’s our Duvall: ready for all natural and not-so-natural disasters.
